     Look, when you took my story, gutted it, added some unbearably bad,
illiterate text that turned it into a mindless porno and reposted it to
alt.sex.cthulhu as an "improvement" I let it go.  I figured it would do
more harm to call attention to it.

     But it has now come to my attention that you are CROSS-POSTING this
abomination to other newsgroups.  Furthermore, you have MY NAME on it. 
Look, please try to understand, I am a writer, and one day I hope to make
my living at it.  What you're doing is destroying my reputation.  Please
STOP it immediately.

     In the first place, it is not your right to "improve" my story. 
There is an implied copyright on anything written and published unless
otherwise stated.  This is a very grey area at the moment, so I'm not
going to push it.  I'm just asking you to please write your OWN damn
stories if you want to publish something over the 'Net?  Okay?

     Yes, I'm flattered that you thought my story "good" enough to
plagiarize, but I'd really rather that you stop now.
