"Parasitic Spammers!!!"? That's fairly redundant, rather like saying 
"wet water" or "dumb blonde."
  There is one way to fight spammers, and it's *fairly* easy, in 
principle. (Ah, but in practice)
  If every man, woman, child and gibbering extra-dimensional entity 
would just flat-out *refuse* to have anything to do with the spamazons, 
they'd wither and die.
  That's the way I handle it. After a while, you come to recognize spam 
on sight, and just delete it from the "messages unread" list without 
bothering to read it. Faster yet, scan through the newsgroup, grab what 
you want, then hit the "nuke group" button and delete it all.
  Don't waste your time, and ours, complaining about spam-we already 
know it's a rip-off. If everyone would ignore it, it *would* go away.
  And if they spam-mail you, charge 'em!
  Oh, well, the lease on my soap box has expired, time to get down.
